Africa is full of vibrant destinations that make our hearts beat faster, especially when it comes to safaris. Visiting the “mother continent” is always an opportunity to unravel the mysteries of the wild and celebrate life. With this in mind, we have selected three unmissable countries for those seeking adventures and unforgettable experiences. See below the highlights of each one:
Botswana
In the Okavango Delta, which is surrounded by an immense wilderness, the great adventure begins with a safari in a mokoro, a traditional narrow canoe used in the shallow waters of the floodplains, or by helicopter or boat. Lions, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and many other animals can be seen daily near the delta and your experience on the water will be different from that on land, precisely because it holds surprises and scenes that can only be witnessed aboard a canoe. Flying over the more than a thousand kilometers that the Okavango River stretches also holds excitement, when its countless channels reveal themselves as true pulsating veins.

Kenya
Called the Cradle of Humankind by many anthropologists, the country's vast savannahs provide unforgettable safaris, with rich natural parks and excellent game drives. And when it comes to the wild, in the Masai Mara National Reserve, you'll be able to see the Great Migration up close, one of the greatest spectacles on the planet and one that's on the list of the most avid travelers. Whether on land or in the air on hot air balloon rides that depart every morning, you'll feel the ground vibrate as the mammals run in herds and it's impossible not to be moved. Wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, gazelles and giraffes make up the group of over a million animals that travel a route that goes from Kenya to Tanzania, and then back again. During the adventure there are many challenges and the members team up to dodge predators, such as hyenas and crocodiles.

South Africa
Kruger National Park is a huge sanctuary that is home to one of the greatest wildlife diversities in the Southern Hemisphere and more species than any other reserve on the continent. There, the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) can be seen all year round and a good option is to stay in lodges with a terrace and panoramic views. In addition to going to sleep to the sound of lions and hippos, it is also common to wake up to the visit of these “neighbors” in accommodations located in the heart of the savannah. This is an excellent option for those who want to venture out on their first safari, and it is incredible all year round.

Namibia
The Sossusvlei desert, located in the Namib-Naukluft Park, has some of the most exotic beauty in Africa, with safaris designed to appreciate its almost untouched landscapes, perfect for photo opportunities. It is easy to get lost in its sea of red sand, which forms dunes that are almost 300 meters high, a true sensory delight. Very close by is Deadvlei, where you can take hot air balloon rides at dawn and witness a mesmerizing landscape, or discover the unique formation via helicopter, 4x4 tours, bicycles or quad bikes.
